This listing is for a Colt 80 series Combat Commander 1911 chambered in .45 ACP with a 4.25" barrel. A true classic of American firearms, this 1911 has all the classic features you want but with a few modern upgrades to suit today's shooter. The stock iron sights have been upgraded to TruGlos, though the tritium is fairly dim. The grip scales have also been updated to faux-ivory with a grim reaper scrimshaw-type engraving. Everything else on the gun is standard and expected from an 80 series 1911. The grip safety has little to no play in it, the hammer cocks back convincingly and the safety functions as intended. The trigger pull is crisp and light and the slide is extremely smooth as can be expected on these guns. The original brushed stainless finish shows some light scratches and scuffs throughout, but is in very good condition overall. Three magazines are included; two Pachmayr with rubber base plates and one Colt with a standard steel base.
