Berretta’s A400 Xcel Sporting Shotgun delivers outstanding performance from breaking clays to waterfowl hunting. It’s designed around the groundbreaking A400 action and the innovative Blink gas operating system. This action allows the shooter to make follow-up shots 36% faster than shotguns of a similar class. The XCEL’s stock features Beretta’s exclusive Kick-Off recoil reduction system that ensures 50% less felt recoil, as well as a newly designed forend with ergonomic checkering and a shooting cap that can accept aftermarket weights. The receiver is also redesigned and features an enhanced top and bottom profile as well as a protective laser-engraved Aquatech Shield grey coating. Other features of the A400 XCEL Sporting include a new competition top rib to promote fast target acquisition and engagement, and enlarged controls such as the bolt handle, bolt release, and loading port are easy to manipulate in poor conditions or when wearing gloves.
